But, what is chimp habituation experience?
Chimp habituation experience is that activity where travelers are allowed to join researchers (By the Uganda Wildlife Authority) on their day’s quest to habituate a chimpanzee group in their natural habitat by following the chimp group throughout their daily routines, from the break of dawn when the wake to the end of the day when they build their nests and retire for the day.
One does not only stop and seeing and photographing chimps but he/she participates in all activities involved in habituating our closest relatives the chimps. A whole day of such an experience is definitely worth doing on your Uganda safari.
