Queen Elizabeth National Park - Amedey of wonders
Queen Elizabeth national Park is the most popular park in Uganda, evidenced by the number of tourists visiting each year. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions and blessed with an assortment of crater lakes, forest gorges, savannah plains, swamps, rivers and the beautiful kazinga channel-home to an abundance of wildlife. The park also has the highest number of bird species in Uganda, and can offer chimpanzee tracking in the forest of Kyabura Gorge. This short safari tour will take you Uganda’s second largest national park, with plenty of wildlife, birds and primates. It’s also spectacular scenery including Crater Lakes and rolling savannah plains overlooking the snowcapped Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Enjoying a game drive and a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel shouldn’t be missed.

Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up in the early morning and have breakfast then our driver guide will transfer you from Kampala to westwards through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside to Queen Elizabeth National park. This journey will take 6-8 hours with stopovers at areas of tourist attraction such as the Uganda Equator for an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time. Ultimate wild safaris driver guide will then continue driving through the savannah grasslands with lots of banana plantations and several herds of local long horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country.

You’ll arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon time for a launch boat cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see at close range the  aquatic animals like Hippos, Buffaloes, Crocodiles and elephants bathing at the banks of the channel, not missing out a numbery of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana. Thereafter you’ll be transferred to your booked hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Early morning game drive and drive back to Kampala
Early morning around (6.30am) you’ll have your breakfast and then set off for morning game drive, an amazing experience to spot the animals in natural habitats.  While on this drive expect see the famous Big Five; Elephant, Buffaloes, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds. There after you’ll be transferred back to Kampala, lunch will be on the way back.

Our standard mode of transport is by road and we use 4×4 Safari Vans customized for game viewing and photography. Each safari van comes with a professionally trained driver guide and fuel for the whole safari. Our Safari vans have viewing hatches and each client is entitled to a window seat. Our Vans can take up to eight people. We also have 4×4 Super Customs very comfortable and stable on the road. These carry up to 5 people with their luggage. We also have 4×4 RAV 4 for a group of two people
We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. They have pop up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. They come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while IN THE VEHICLE). They have inverters for charging small gadgets such as your smart phones and cameras. They can seat five to a maximum of seven people and each client is guaranteed of a window seat.
